Welcome to the book section.
The books on display here are self published pieces. In several books,
color-xerox prints are made from original pen and ink illustrations and
bound into pop-up bookforms. Others involve multi-color woodcut and linoleum prints.
This site will soon feature
links to other book-related sites, and will be updated with new Scrap King
Press titles. Please take time to search around the web for other bookbinding
and fine press information. The Bookarts are alive and well at many universities,
and artists of many mediums are turning to the book as a means of expression.
If you are a teacher of
children or adults, working in the book format can be instructive for organizational,
conceptual and artistic processes. Check back soon for a reading list.
